Three Activities That Help Me Save My Marriage Every Day

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise: having a happy and healthy marriage takes work.  And not just once in a blue moon type of work.  To develop a strong and lasting relationship with your spouse, you need to put in effort every single day.  This shouldn’t be looked at as a chore.  With anything that’s important, you’re going to have to put in time and energy to make it a success.  Doing three simple activities help me save my marriage on a daily basis, and hopefully can help you save yours.

1.  Listening without interrupting.  When living with someone over a long period of time, it’s quite common to stop showing as much appreciation and respect as you did in the beginning of the relationship.  By allowing your significant other to speak his or her mind without cutting in to add your own views, you let them now that their opinions are important (even though you may not agree with them).

2.  Unexpected kissing.  When was the last time that you surprised your spouse with a kiss?  Giving your partner a smooch when he isn’t anticipating it will catch him off guard in a pleasant way.  Far too often in relationships, the amount of kissing decreases over time.  And it’s a shame because the small act of a little kiss can instantly make your spouse feel wanted and attractive.

3.  Reassuring touches.  Living in such fast paced times, couples unknowingly start to touch each other less and less.  One activity that I perform each day to help me save my marriage is to touch my spouse in a reassuring manner.  It can be a full body hug, holding hands, or even just putting an arm around a shoulder.

With divorce rates being so high, you have to do take action daily to make a marriage work.  Fortunately, these activities that I personally use to help me save my marriage are fun to do.  Although they may seem simple, listening, kissing, and touching your partner each day can have profound effects in a relationship.

Laser Hair Removal – Do’s & Dont’s

Posted by admin | Uncategorized | Tuesday 4 November 2008 5:44 am

Many women having unwanted hair on parts of their body are dreaming of having reduced hair growth if not permanently removing those hairs. Some women are still quite hesitant to try hair removal treatments being offered in the market today. This is due to various reasons some of which are having little to no information on how it works or they don’t personally know anyone who has tried and was successfully treated.

What is Laser Hair Removal?

Laser Hair Removal uses pulses of intense lamp light directed to the hair follicles. The light is then absorbed and converted to heat by these hair follicles. The heat helps in loosening the hair and disabling the cells that grows the hair. It is recommended to have 8 to 10 treatments to see the full effect of these laser hair removal systems.

Here are some things to remember after undergoing a laser hair removal treatment.

Do’s

  • Prepare a cold compress, aloe vera or cold pack and apply on areas that are slightly swollen and red. This will ease the burning sensation in the problem area.
  • Apply an SPF 30 or higher sunblock on the treated area if it will be exposed to sunlight.
  • Apply moisturizing creams on treated areas to prevent drying the skin tissues.
  • Apply makeup on treated area only if the skin tissues are not broken.
  • After the treatment, it is advisable to take a quick warm shower
  • User Mild soap.

Dont’s

  • Do not use other hair removal methods such as shaving and plucking.
  • Don’t apply make up on treated skin if there is blistering.
  • Avoid sun exposure if sunblock is not applied.
  • Avoid scratching the treated area.

It is important to know the effects of treatments and much more important to know on what to do to care of it. Women will no have informed choices before deciding on undergoing any beauty treatment.
