Did you spend a lot of time and energy you making your web site or working with a web designer? Well, don’t deny the same effort to make sure it works well for your customers and looks good to the Spiders (SERPs).

Equal effort is needed to make sure everything is connected, integrated, and optimized—call it what you want…So even if you spent a lot on the graphics, and maybe even added a video; it’s only part of the work.

Along with content that relates to your product or service it’s a good idea to have a page on your site where you can add fresh content. Do you have to call your web developer every time you want to do something? Many site updates should be done by your developer and a good web support plan allows the site owner to add or edit some of the content.

Here is a list of 15 Web Site Elements that you should consider:

- Check your Tags- title, description, images, keywords, and the bold text.
- How is your content? Is it relevant to your site visitors? Is it complete?
- Do you have internal linking?
- Have you researched your inbound link opportunities?
- What about a Site Map for users? What about a Google site map?
- What about including image captions? With links?
- Is your contact information on each page?
-Will your site visitors be able to read the font style and size on your site?
- Does the Email link work? Did you check every page?
- Do you want to have the email addresses of site visitors for your marketing?
- Do you have articles that live on your site?
- Can you add articles or page content easily?
- Do your links to other web sites open in a separate window?
- Make sure when you close a link on your site that you don’t close your entire site?
- Did you look at your competitor sites?

Hopefully most of this work is already done. Many of these things you can find out just by going through your site If these items aren’t familiar to you then use the list when you talk to your web designer.
